Spring Onion have hollow green leaves and a white bulb at the bottom. Both the long, slender green tops and the small white bulb are edible. They are consumed either raw or cooked. They are used in a variety of dishes and can be cooked in different forms like curry, dry vegetable, soup, salad, pulao, etc. Spring Onion are rich source of Vitamin C, Vitamin B2 and thiamine. They also contain Vitamin A and Vitamin K.
